Campaign: Florence Fights the Fleas
Objective: To raise awareness of Bayer’s Advantage flea provention products and to educate our target audience about the importance (and advantage!) of regular dosing compliance, while staying loyal to the brand’s spirit of playful pet partnership.
Insight: We all know fleas plague our pets, but did you know they feast on our families too? Our research found that the UK public is almost entirely unaware that these nasties creep into every corner of our homes, putting the health of pets and people at risk.
Idea: Rather than focus on adults / parents, would are typically responsible for the long-term health of family pets, we chose to position 'Florence' as the main defender of the household against the threat posed by a flea infestation to reinforce the Bayer's brand values and as a vehicle to highlight the ease of dosing – constrasted against Florence's elobarate schemes.
This award-winning campaign reached thousands of UK pet owners across multiple channels.
The ad exceeded benchmarking results for video completion on VOD, digital received millions of impressions, and we reached more than 50,000 pet owners via our influencer activity.
