“I decided that I would write one story about each thing that I knew about.” – Ernest Hemingway
SEE performance report | graphic design
In the autumn of 2014 I was commissioned to produce a major report for Student Enterprise and Employability (SEE) at University of the Arts London. The report was to cover the department's major achievements over the past year, and had to be designed within the University's brand guidelines, developed by Pentagram back in 2012.
The illustration on the cover is of a large neon sign which sits in the window of the UAL Showroom - an exhibition space curated by SEE and located in High Holborn. I took inspiration from this and used it to create a stylised variation on the Helevetica Neue typeface, which is central to the UAL brand, to use throughout the report.
